Granary Square in bloom for two-week Easter makeover

From a land train to Easter egg hunts, we pick the top 10 happenings this spring break

We’re sure you’re as partial to the fountains and their surrounds as we are. And they come into their own in warmer weather.

So we’re pleased that the centre of King’s Cross is getting a seasonal ‘Flower Power’ makeover to mark the forthcoming (hopefully balmy) break.

Landscape architect Dan Pearson is transforming Coal Drops Yard into a sea of beautiful blooms, with Herne Hill’s Moon Lane books running a pop-up with storytelling and book-themed activities.

Chugging past the Skip Garden will be a land train which you can also ride to an array of arts and craft activities in Lower Stable Street’s Store.

Not to mention an Easter Egg hunt and the rather excellent weekly Canopy Market (read more about that here) getting a seasonal reboot. Here’s our pick of the best bits in more detail.
