promising new weekly party has launched aimed at giving the King’s Cross community a regular place to meet up every Thursday evening.
Kings Cross Social (KXS) gets you into weekend mood early, taking place in the rather fabulous Loft space at York Way nightclub venue, Egg.
The event sees a selection of the capital’s most respected promoters and DJs providing the disco and house soundtrack, and look out for the roller-skaters and dancers ensuring the party is vibrant from the 9pm start to 3pm finish.
There are loads of attractive local offers too, including a special guestlist for Gasholder readers from tonight. Simply say “gasholder” on the door for a complimentary Champagne cocktail upon arrival.

It’s free to get in before 11pm too, and only a fiver for Gasholder readers after then (usually £10), so remember to state that magic guestlist password. You’ll need photo ID and to be aged over 19, as usual for entry to the venue.
Tonight sees Chase The Compass with French Toast, Holmes Price, House Husband and resident Chaya, then the 18th is Lunar Events featuring Troglodyte Disco, Cousin Jay and Chaya, and the 25th sees The House Party Project with semi, Burno, Biscous, Ralph Richards and RJB.
