MUST DO: Magnum Light Exhibition

Prestigious photo agency Magnum take over the King's Cross light-tunnel

USA. Baltimore, MD. October 31, 1964. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. being greeted on his return to the US after receiving the Nobel Peace Prize. Photo: Magnum.

The concept is simple: 70 iconic images from 70 years of Magnum Photos, the world-famous photo agency, displayed in the 90-metre long ambient light tunnel in King’s Cross station (the one that comes out on King’s Boulevard).

The exhibition charts a potted history of Magnum, including work by its founding fathers, the introduction of colour photographers such as Harry Gruyaert and Bruno Barbey, through to the contemporary practice of working in a more ‘art’ medium.

The exhibition is free and will run until 15th June.
