WATCH: The Scotch Egg Challenge
Every year The Canonbury pub hosts this chance to watch and mingle with some of the UK’s top chefs and food writers, compèred by Joe Warwick. Those chefs invited to hatch their best creations will be blind-tasted by judges (including Felicity Cloake, Robin Gill (The Dairy) and James Ramsden (Pidgin). RESTAURANT: Orrery celebrates a milestone
The fancy French restaurant in Marylebone marks its 21st anniversary by re-opening with a new interior and menu. The dining room has been overhauled, the space brightened by the floor-to-ceiling arched windows framing the St Marylebone Church courtyard, while new dishes include steak tartare with a sourdough and truffle dressing and Kentish lamb wellington with salsify and garlic.
