This one really is a must. It’s just been announced that the second annual Poetry & Lyrics festival, curated by the King’s Place-based Poet in the City, is to be headlined by iconic singer-songwriter PJ Harvey.

Together with Scottish poet Don Paterson, Harvey will read from new work and discuss the varied influences on her writing (9th June).

Then on the Saturday (10th), you can soak up some wise words from poet Kayo Chingonyi.

Kings Place, York Way N1. Tickets available here.
