XMAS MARKET: Winter terrace at German Gymnasium
The idea of this heated outdoor space, lined with traditional pine chalets adorned with fern wreaths, snow and strings of twinkling fairy lights, is to emulate the feel of the winter markets that pop up across Germany. There’ll be hearty fare like hot dogs with currywurst and bratwurst, plus posher options including oyster and caviar dishes. For a warming tipple enjoyed on the terrace, sample a range of seasonal cocktails. Until the end of February 2017. King’s Blvd, Kings Cross N1C

King’s Place, 90 York Way N1

A bar will be mixing up spiced rum chais and winter cocktails, with live music and beats. Entrance fee includes three portions of food and a rum chai. Tickets here. Friday 9th Dec, 6.30pm – 10pm.
